Clubs & Organizations

Are you looking for a way to get involved at Columbus State University? We hope that you are, and we are here to help you find organizations that are right for you.

We have over 110 active Registered Student Organizations (RSO) on the Columbus State University campus, and we encourage you to consider membership in any that interest you or create a new organization.

Mandatory RSO Forums

One representative from each RSO is required to attend. Students can represent more than one RSO and advisers are welcome to attend. Advisers can also be present to represent the RSO.

RSO Training Sessions

New and Transitional Officer Training
These training sessions are designed to provide new and transitioning officers of RSOs with valuable information about leadership and the basics of being an officer. We will explore components of leadership as well as connecting students to important services on campus.

To participate, email Stephanie Adams at adams_stephanie@colstate.edu no later than 2 days prior to the training session. You can also visit the Office of Student Life and Development for more information in Davidson 271.

Event Planning 101
This training session is available to all members of RSOs. We will explore the basics of event planning and provide a checklist of "how to's" that students can use for planning any event.
